Meet Lisa Ingold
Lisa Ingold was born and raised in Virginia Beach, Virginia. She graduated from Longwood College in Farmville, Virginia, in 1990 with a Bachelors of Science degree in biology and English. She worked in diabetes research at Eastern Virginia Medical School for four years before attending Emory University School of Medicine Physician Assistant Program in Atlanta, Georgia. Lisa earned a Masters of Medical Science degree in 1996. She is certified through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is licensed through the Oregon Medical Board.
Lisa was a recipient of the National Health Service Corps scholarship award, which she repaid practicing rural medicine in Happy Camp, California, for three years (think “Northern Exposure”). It was there that she met her husband Greg, who was a U.S. Forest Service wilderness ranger for the Marble Mountains. After completing her scholarship commitment, they relocated to Ashland, Oregon, and then Eugene, where they have resided for fourteen years.
Lisa has been a physician assistant for over twenty years, twelve of which have been spent practicing general dermatology. Prior to that, she spent eight years practicing rural, family and internal medicine, with two years in college health. Her dermatology practice focuses on the management of all skin diseases, with a special interest in acne and rosacea.
Lisa has two teenage sons and she loves spending time with her family outside the office. She is obsessed with swimming, alternative music, movies and pizza!
