Meet Cassandra Wren
Cassandra Wren was born and raised in Montana. She graduated magna cum laude from Michigan State University with her Bachelors of Science degree in Dietetics and a specialization in Health Promotion in 2009. Cassandra earned her Masters of Physician Assistant Studies degree as well as her Child Health Associate degree in May, 2013 from University of Colorado’s Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora Colorado. In order to obtain the Child Health Associate degree, she completed additional coursework and hands-on training in pediatric clinical settings, including a full medical rotation at Children’s Hospital Colorado’s Dermatology Clinic.
She is certified through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is licensed through the Oregon Medical Board. Cassandra is an active member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants and the Oregon Medical Association. Prior to starting at Cascade Dermatology, she worked as a surgical physician assistant in plastic, reconstructive, and hand surgery in Corvallis Oregon.
Her practice focuses on the management of skin diseases, as well as skin cancer screening, diagnosis, and treatment. She performs surgical procedures, including treatment for skin cancer. She has a special love and interest in treating the skin concerns of children and adolescents.
Outside of the office, Cassandra enjoys traveling, trail running, hiking, kickboxing, riding horses, making cold process soap, playing the piano, and spending time with her loved ones, including her cat, and two large dogs.
